Renee Edson is a cellist currently studying under the tutelage of Meta Weiss at Griffith Conservatorium. Piano was originally Renee’s primary instrument and has remained integral in her own learning and playing. Renee received her LMusA on piano, and AMusA on Cello before beginning her degree. Her pedagogy experience began with teaching music theory classes to primary school kids and expanded to individual lessons of all ages and working with small string ensembles. Renee loves working with a student to not only assist with establishing good technique and practice habits, but also to foster a love of musical discovery. No matter when or for what reason someone would like to develop their musical potential Renee believes there is an individual and creative approach that will make their endeavours truly rewarding. Renee is dedicated to help each student in this way and prepare them for whatever goals they would like to achieve.
