Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Wayne has 9 years of full time teaching experience and 16 years playing experience in a wide variety of genres, including gigs on 4 continents.

Wayne teaches all styles including Funk, Jazz, Hip Hop, Rock, RnB, Reggae, Latin/Afro-Carribean, Drum n Bass etc. Lessons take place on two pro quality drum kits (Pearl ELX & Tama Swingstar). Wayne likes to think the he offers something different to the average music store teacher, helping drummers to fully express themselves on the instruments in a musical way. Wayne is great with kids and has a genuine love for helping people to develop as musicians. Beginner, advanced and self-taught drummers welcome.
