Hana Hobiger

Viola, Violin and Beginner ‘Cello

Hana Hobiger is a core member of Camerata of St John’s, Queensland’s Chamber Orchestra, and enjoys teaching her many violin and viola students. Hana has completed a Bachelor of Music in Performance and Pedagogy from QCGU, and then continued her studies with Elizabeth Morgan. Recently, she went to study in Germany with Matthias Buchholz.

Hana has a Licentiate of Music, and received the Harmer Memorial Scholarship, and the John Curro Viola Prize. Hana loves playing chamber music; her quartet won the Gertrude Langer Ensemble Prize, her piano quintet was a finalist in the Sydney Chamber Music Competition. She is a regular participant in the Australian Chamber Music Festival, the Queensland Music Festival, the Tyalgum Music Festival, and the Bangalow Music Festival.
